'Pretty' Purdie Drums Up Interest

Toronto will be hosting this year's gathering of legendary musicians and innovative up and comers known as the Red Bull Music Academy. Last week, Cut Chemist and legendary drummer Bernard Purdie passed through town for an info session on the event and while I caught the fine show with Purdie and the former Jurassic 5 DJ, I missed out on the earlier info session where Purdie apparently told some amazing stories.

The Incubator has a recap and alerted me to this video of 'Pretty' Purdie on the drums at the Montreal info session. Given the buzz in the air around this event already in the city, it's already looking like a can't miss affair.
