Step Off

Saw this review and realized I hadn't mentioned Maspyke recently. Not sure why this group with their Boot Camp meets Brand Nubian vibe is so severely underrated. I'm definitely feeling their new album "Static" and felt they put on a good show when they passed through the city a couple of weeks ago. That same night Hero really impressed and Mathematik put on a breath control clinic. Nice work Jesse and crew. Back to Maspyke and though, and I have to say, even though "Step" has been out for a while, it still bangs. Can you say bounce?
